1 Introduction Young adulthood is characterized by a multitude of fundamental transitions: from school to university, and then to employment. Mastering these transitions has been identified for many decades as a central developmental task of early adulthood (Arnett, 2000; Havighurst, 1972). The changes that university studies entail require significant adjustment and the development of coping strategies for the associated psychosocial stressors (Skinner et al., 2003).

1 Introduction Infertility, defined as the inability to conceive or maintain a pregnancy and caused by various factors, is an increasingly prevalent health issue worldwide (World Health Organization 2023). Infertility, which significantly impacts the quality of life for couples and represents a psychologically challenging process (World Health Organization 2020), often imposes a substantial emotional burden on those affected.

1 INTRODUCTION According to Globacan 2020 cancer data, ovarian cancer (OC) ranks third among the most common gynecological cancers in the world and in Turkey. 1,398,601 women in the world, 12,186 women in Turkey were diagnosed with gynecological cancer. The prognosis of women with OC is much worse than those diagnosed with other gynecological malignancies. OC is still diagnosed at an advanced stage and therefore has high mortality rates (Globacan, 2020).
