What was your first job as a journalist?

I worked for 4 years in the major regional TV news channel in Sicily

Did you work for your high school newspaper? If so, what did you do there?

At 17, my first article was about FGM. I also wrote a travel piece from Melbourne, and I won my 1st mobile phone in a student journalism award

What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?

Be curious and always double check your news
