In the final regular season matchup of the 2022-2023 basketball season, the Brandeis men fell short of the New York University (NYU) Violets in Brooklyn, New York. The Violets defeated the Judges 70-57, outsourcing the Judges by 12 points in the first half and just one point in the second half. Despite defeating NYU earlier in the season, 81-61, the Judges were unable to match their opponent’s pace for all 40 minutes.
Brandeis men’s basketball takes on Case Western and Carnegie Mellon
The Brandeis men’s basketball team faced University Athletic Association (UAA) opponents Case Western Reserve University (CWRU) and Carnegie Mellon University (CMU) for the first time this season. While the Judges shot a respectable 50% from the field (26-52) against CWRU on Friday night, the Spartans shot lights out from behind the arc to beat the Judges on their home court, 91-71.

In 2011, Adriana Santonocito was a design student in Milan when she first had the idea of making sustainable textiles from what was naturally abundant, and widely wasted, in her native Sicilian city of Catania. Her challenge was to find a way for the rinds of hundreds of thousands of tonnes of oranges to be put to good use.
