1 Introduction Osteosarcoma (OS) is the most common primary malignant bone tumor in adolescents and young adults and mostly affects the long bones of the extremities [1]. On the contrary, only 4%–8% of the OSs arise in craniofacial structures and skull, more frequently in older patients, usually over 60 years old [2-5]. Therefore, craniofacial osteosarcomas (CFOSs) are truly rare in pediatric patients.
