King's entrepreneurs are amongst 233 recipients of Innovate UK’s £6m boost for UK’s innovation talent. Gemma Archer, co-founder of Researcher Searcher and Francis Jones, founder of STEM@Home have been selected amongst 233 innovators across the UK to receive support from Innovate UK. Through the competition, Innovate UK, the UK’s innovation agency has released £6.2 million in grants to tackle some of the UK’s biggest societal challenges.

At the final in May of the Mayor’s Entrepreneur competition, King’s student and chemistry teacher Francis Jones pitched his project in person to the Mayor of London and a panel of celebrity judges. Called STEM@Home, Francis’s project delivers a subscription box full of practical science experiments and past exam questions to secondary students’ doorsteps every month.
