En 2015, mon mari a été accueilli à l’unité de soins palliatifs de l'Hôpital Notre‐Dame. Je me doutais que son séjour serait bref et ce fut malheureusement le cas. Huit jours, c’est bien peu pour affronter cette dernière étape de vie et bien peu de temps pour apprivoiser le deuil à venir à son propre rythme. Pensez-y! On passe sa vie à apprendre à vivre et en un éclair, on doit apprendre à mourir. Parler d’un défi de taille est un euphémisme.

In line with the adoption of Bill 59, which integrated trainees into the prevention and compensation regimes provided under the Act Respecting Occupational Health and Safety and the Act Respecting Industrial Accidents and Occupational Diseases respectively, the Quebec legislator recently adopted, on Feb. 24, the Act to Ensure the Protection of Trainees in the Workplace (the Act).
