What was your first job as a journalist?

I hosted "Slept-On Radio." It's a show that highlights the most overlooked artists in underground rap.

What's your favorite social network?

Twitter. It's the underbelly of the internet, but it's necessary.

What story are you most proud of writing or working on?

My review of Greaf's "River City Wizard" album. Greaf my favorite artist of all time, so writing about him was a blast.

When you're not at a computer, where are you most likely to be?

Eating at my local taco spot, playing pick-up basketball, or geeking at the record shop.

What's the most common misperception about your beat?

People seem to think music journalists just write reviews, but this field includes the uncovering and delivery of important stories as well.
