After years of anti-semetic remarks and controversy, ahead of his most recent album “Bully” Ye, the artist formerly known as Kanye West, took out a full-page ad in the Wall Street Journal to apologize for his behavior. The apology, titled “To Those I’ve Hurt” cited bipolar disorder which he got as a result of brain damage from his infamous 2002 car accident. The apology was comprehensive, explanatory and it reads like the musician genuinely wishes to improve his standing in the public eye.
