Originally born and raised in Watertown, Connecticut, I am currently completing my senior year at Hobart and William Smith Colleges in Geneva, New York and pursuing dual Bachelor's of Arts degrees in Media and Society and Political Science.

What was your first job as a journalist?

My first job as a journalist was to write a story about project updates pertaining to a local library that was undergoing renovations.

Have you ever used a typewriter?

When I was a child, I would travel to my grandmother's house and use her typewriter to write old-fashioned messages and notes.

How is social media changing news?

There are many ways to cut the pie. The news cycle is endless and not just for prime time television. Consumers are simply freer to choose.

2019 - Bob Eddy Scholarship

Selected as one of four college students who cumulatively received a total of $6,000, the scholarship committee considers past journalism work, commitment to the industry, academic success and financial need when determining its award recipients. The Bob Eddy Scholarship Program to Foster Journalism Careers provides four scholarships to students who are entering their junior or senior year and are enrolled at an accredited university in Connecticut or a Connecticut resident enrolled in an accredited university in any state or country.
