The North West Counties Football League is looking to recruit an Assistant Referees Appointments Officer. The Assistant Referee Appointments Officer will lead the continuous improvement programme for assistant refereeing across the League’s three divisions, working with the Referee Appointment Officer for the Step 5/6 pool. This will be achieved through the effective management of systems and procedures, acting as a role model for assistant referees, and supporting their ongoing development.

The Opening fixtures of the 2024-25 North West Counties League Season have been released. The opening weekend of the season sees a number of interesting fixtures across all three divisions. In the Premier Division on Saturday 27th we see West Didsbury & Chorlton host Glossop North End, whilst Bury start their campaign with a trip to Squires Gate. FC Isle of Man host Chadderton for their opening fixtures, whilst Lower Breck travel to Barnoldswick Town.

Our Fixtures Officer is currently working with the League Secretary to compile and complete the 2024-25 seasons fixtures. What we are looking to do is release the first couple of weeks worth of fixtures this coming Monday, 1st July at 10am. There are still a few permutations that need looking at by way of ground share clashes and locations undertaking developments, but it is our aim to release two weeks fixtures first and the rest of the seasons fixtures as soon as possible shortly after.
