The payout is now at an estimated $427 million. Today, the New York Lottery announced that one top-prize ticket for the July 5 Take 5 Midday drawing was sold at Kinney Drugs in Plattsburgh.

BROOKFIELD, N.Y. -- The Madison County Fair, which dates back to 1839, begins today and runs through Sunday. It's held at the Madison County Fairgrounds in Brookfield. The Barnyard Olympics are tonight at 6. There are plenty of rides, games and fair food, as well as daily live music. Also, there are 4-H programs, livestock exhibits, agricultural displays, demonstrations, and educational contests.

HOLLAND PATENT, N.Y. -- There’s been another bear sighting. This time in Holland Patent. Robert Lott said that he’s been putting up his bird feeders at night because he thought racoons were raiding them. The only feeder he left up at night was a tray feeder about 7 feet off the ground that the racoons couldn't access. Lott said that on Sunday night, his wife heard a noise outside and went looking. She didn't see anything.
