I love my skincare routine. Do I have a body image problem? Original
A 12-year-old watches a “get ready with me” video. Then she adds a retinol serum, exfoliating acid and several “anti-ageing” products to an online shopping cart. An adult repeatedly checks their pores in a magnifying mirror. They then buy each new product promising “glass skin” and become anxious if they cannot complete their nightly routine. Skincare can be enjoyable, creative and soothing. But when does self-care become something more concerning?

A nutritious diet is one of the key ways to stay physically and mentally fit. Research suggests it may reduce your risk of developing various conditions, including type 2 diabetes, heart disease and certain cancers. Diet may also help protect against depression and other mental health concerns.

Set-off Clauses Under Scrutiny: A Major Wakeup Call For Employers
In the landmark decision of Fair Work Ombudsman v Woolworths Group Limited, the Federal Court found that set-off clauses in employment contracts will only validly discharge award entitlements if the payment under the clause occurs within the same period those entitlements are earned.
Set-off clauses under scrutiny: a major wakeup call for employers
A set-off clause is a provision in an employment contract where an employer pays an employee at a higher rate, usually as a salary, rather than separately paying each award entitlement as it arises in that pay period. If properly drafted, a set-off clause can lawfully discharge the employer’s obligations under the relevant modern award or enterprise agreement.
Period pain and heavy bleeding linked with lower school attendance and GCSE results - new study
Menstrual cycles are experienced by roughly half of the population for half of their lives. The experiences of menstruation on teenagers are incredibly important, especially as young people are starting periods earlier. Our research shows that this impact extends to their school attendance – and GCSE results. Previous studies have reported that many young people take time off school and struggle to concentrate in school because of difficult experiences related to menstruation.

From final warning to Fair Work Commission – the risks of internal investigations for employee misconduct - Cooper Grace Ward

Employees must be allowed to know the allegations against them and provided with a reasonable opportunity to respond to those allegations.
