JUNEAU, Alaska (AP) — Rain and wind were forecast Wednesday along the Alaska coast where two villages were devastated by the remnants of Typhoon Halong and officials were scrambling to find shelter for more than 1,500 people driven from their homes. Refugees who were conditionally approved before President Donald Trump took office must still be processed under the order from a 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals panel, but the judges allowed the Republican administration to suspend new approvals.
