There are three 1,200-square-foot, three-bedroom, two-bathroom apartments and two 800-square-foot, one-bedroom, one-bathroom apartments.

The Bella Affordable Housing Foundation of Rancho Santa Fe bought the 13-unit apartment building at 4230 44th St. The seller was the Lewis-Stein Trust of La Mesa. Benn Vogelsang of Northmarq represented the buyer. Susan Forster of Coastal Pacific Real Estate represented the seller. The building has 12 one-bedroom apartments of 425 square feet and one two-bedroom apartment of 700 square feet.
