I am an undergraduate student at the University of Birmingham and freelance sports journalist. Having started out at Redbrick, the university newspaper, I have developed my writing style and have written for The Rugby Paper, Ruck and Vavel. Over the last year, I have attended many press conferences and matches from regional levels to the international stage. With specialisms in rugby union, Formula 1 and football, I have a well-rounded knowledge of sport.

Freeman scores four as Saints extend unbeaten run at the top of the table

Tommy Freeman grabbed the headlines with four tries as Northampton Saints extended their unbeaten run against Saracens in a game for the ages. Saints looked to be running away with the game with three unanswered tries before the Londoners responded to remarkably take the lead at half time. The second half was nothing short of exhilarating, putting on a world class attacking clinic. The England contingent of Fin Smith, Henry Pollock, Fraser Dingwall, Alex Coles and Freeman were simply excellent.
