My first paid jjob was as a reporter for Sun Newspapers in Minnetonka, Minnesota

Why did you become a journalist?

I have an insatiable curiosity and love storytelling.

I was an editor and columnist (Gin n Tonic) of my high school newspaper.

What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?

Develop your natural sense of curiosity and wonder - and use them to tell stories.

Outdoors.
