Giulia Alvarez-Katz’s Biography
I'm a Queens-based freelance writer focused primarily on food, its movements, and its changes. I use my education in science, anthropology, and history to fill in blanks and answer some (perhaps not-so-pressing) questions both for myself and the world I live in. We know ourselves through food, so why not get to know ourselves better? I am best at fastidiously researched deep dives into a certain food culture or product.
