Prominent Ijaw leader, Chief Edwin Clark, criticised President Bola Tinubu’s peace arrangement with Rivers State Governor Siminalayi Fubara and Federal Capital Territory Minister Nyesome Wike on Tuesday describing it as ‘appauling’ and  to the Ijaw people. At a meeting in Abuja on Monday night, Tinubu engineered a ceasefire between the FCT minister and his political godson.

According to Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development Festus Keyamo, Nigeria and Kuwait have inked a bilateral air services agreement (BASA). According to a statement from the minister’s media assistant, Tunde Moshood, the agreement was formalised during the current COP28 in Dubai, demonstrating a commitment to promoting international cooperation in the field of aviation. However, Moshood clarified that the agreement was signed in Saudi Arabia following approval by both parties.
