Godot Engine

I like to keep track of Godot’s growth. Since we don’t have any tracking information in the engine itself, this can be challenging. So I use a variety of sources to try to get a full picture of how Godot is growing over time. I have been collecting data long enough now that I can finally put together some graphs that illustrate the growth of the engine. This data comes from many different sources and is collected in different ways, so it can be a little bit scattered.

Today at 1:20 AM The release of Godot 4.4 brings several key updates to the open-source game engine, including the integration of Jolt Physics as a native feature. The update enables real-time interactive in-game editing and enhances XR support for Android. Ubershader support is added to improve shader handling, and 3D physics interactions are smoother with new interpolation support.
