Grace Gottschling’s Biography

I have a Bachelor's degree in English and a minor in professional writing. I am an Investigative Reporter with Campus Reform and work primarily with data and long-form research.

I have experience with content writing, copy editing, proofreading, data entry, FOIA requests, and large -file data analysis.

I enjoy journalism because there is an inherent need for truth and information. I believe it is a journalist's sole duty to tell the truth and inform the public.

What was your first job as a journalist?

Staff writer at my university's student-run newspaper.

How is social media changing news?

Social media floods the consumer with information, which is not always accurate, but it allows people to do their own research.

What does it mean to be a journalist?

It means telling the truth. It means limiting your own bias to inform the reader so they can formulate their own opinion with all the facts.
