How is social media changing news?
I think in a mix of good and bad ways. There's a dangerous lack of editorial oversight, but also a better immediate access for some stories.
Who do you wish followed you?
If we're talking about someone in the in the entertainment industry, it'd probably have to be Mike Flanagan.
Why did you become a journalist?
I initially planned to be a filmmaker, and after not taking any steps prior to high school, I turned my love of film reviews into this.
Did you work for your high school newspaper? If so, what did you do there?
I did, I started as a writer before working my way up to the Arts & Life Editor, as well as the Business Manager.
When's the best time to pitch you?
Any time between 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. EST.
