Why Are So Many People Leaving Texas - And Why Are Most of Them Coming to California

Texas ranked third in the United States for the number of residents moving out of state (467,338) in 2017. The most popular out-of-state relocation destination for Texans was California (40,999). Let’s put this exodus from Texas into perspective vis-a-vis California. Texas had a population in 2017 of 28.32 million. On a per capita basis then, the percent of people leaving Texas was 0.016. California lost just over 661,000 people to domestic migration in the 12 months ended in July 2017.

Stem cell transplants have been used for over 40 years with demonstrated life-saving capabilities for some blood diseases [1], and the molecules and exosomes released from the stem cells are currently in therapeutic development for a number of diseases and conditions, including neurodegenerative diseases [2], heart conditions [3], glaucoma [4], hearing loss [5] and skin diseases [6,7].
