Stereoelectroencephalography reveals neural signatures of multisensory integration in the human superior temporal sulcus during audiovisual speech perception
Abstract Human speech perception is multisensory, integrating auditory information from the talker's voice with visual information from the talker's face. BOLD fMRI studies have implicated the superior temporal gyrus (STG) in processing auditory speech and the superior temporal sulcus (STS) in integrating auditory and visual speech, but as an indirect hemodynamic measure, fMRI is limited in its ability to track the rapid neural computations underlying speech perception.

Ecodevelopmentally Based Study of Epidemiological and Self-Perceived Indices of Hiv Risk among Young African Americans: A Comparative Analysis
This study examined the association between epidemiological and self-perceived risks of contracting the human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) among young African Americans (AA) and the multi-level factors (micro-, meso-, exo-, and macro-systems) identified based on the ecodevelopmental theory.
Disparities In The Process And The Outcomes Of Depression Management Between Pediatric Major Depressive Disorder Cases Identified By Primary Care Providers Versus Psychiatrists - Value in Health
Antidepressant medication (AD) is standard treatment for moderate to severe MDD. Guidelines recommend physicians’ frequent monitoring and adherence to AD. Mental health (MH) related hospitalization is an important concern among children and adolescents. This study examined the disparities between PCP and PSY identified pediatric MDD follow-up visits, AD adherence and hospitalization.
Care Seeking Pathway Of Depression In Children And Adolescents: Differences In The Need For Care Coordination Between Patients Managed By Primary Care Providers Or Psychiatrists - Value in Health
Major depressive disorder (MDD) is a prevalent mood disorder among children and adolescents and has severe consequences if not treated appropriately such as academic failure, substance abuse, attempted suicide, and increased risk of adult depression. To track quality and design improvement strategies in MDD treatment, it is important to assess how the care seeking pathway is shaped after initial MDD diagnosis by primary care providers (PCP) versus psychiatrists (PSY).

"Artificial diets used in mass production of the New World screwworm, " by H Chen, M F. Chaudhury et al.
The New World screwworm, Cochliomyia hominivorax (Coquerel) (Diptera: Calliphoridae), has been eradicated from North and Central America using the sterile insect technique. This success has been based on mass production of high-quality screwworms using artificial diets since 1958. Many diet formulations for both larvae and adults have been developed, mainly driven by cost efficiency and material supply.
