Question about Damasko full-lume dials (daytime overtones)
Discussion Starter • #1 • 44 m ago I love the idea of full-lume dials, especially when paired with no-lume hands and markers for max contrast. But I don't like the strange overtones of color that are visible on some full-lume dials in the daytime, even indoors when the lume has long since "expired," such as after being shaded overnight.

Amazon glitch causes pain for Rockingham County soap company
Blame it on the coronavirus. But the listing for Charlie’s Soap’s biggest selling item on Amazon — its 100-load laundry detergent powder — simply evaporated from Amazon’s website in mid-March. “UH-OH. Something went wrong on our end,” the Amazon link read for seven days. During those seven days, sales of nearly half of Charlie’s Soap’s business completely disappeared. That’s a big hit on this small family-run business based in the Rockingham County communities of Mayodan and Stoneville.

Tiny houses coming to High Point
HIGH POINT, N.C. — Hay Street is like many other working class neighborhoods in North Carolina. “When furniture and textile industries left, the community was hard hit,” said Chris Williams, a High Point City councilman who represents voters in the Hay Street neighborhood. “There are a lot of dilapidated and boarded-up houses. The community went down.” That may soon change, thanks to the new J.M. Green Tiny House development.

Greensboro debuts tiny home community to address affordable housing issues, homelessness
GREENSBORO — Tiny houses. On tiny lots. For a very big need. When he looks over the six tiny houses nearing completion in the Pomona neighborhood of Greensboro, Scott Jones doesn’t see six houses. “I see six lives being changed,” he said. Lives like that of David Merritt, who was homeless for nine years before becoming the first resident to move into a tiny house built by Weaver Academy students. “It got me off the street and put me in a safe place,” Merritt said.
