Wafer-scale 2D MoS₂ transistors with sub-5 nm channel length and subthreshold performance beyond the silicon limit
Abstract The downscaling of silicon field-effect transistors is approaching fundamental limits, with the international roadmap for devices and systems (IRDS) projecting a 12 nm channel length plateau by 2037. Two-dimensional (2D) semiconductors have emerged as promising candidates for extended transistor scaling. However, no experimental demonstration has thus far surpassed the fundamental switching limits of advanced silicon.

Performance analysis of a predictive control strategy for a simulated central tower CSP plant using real-time solar radiation measurements
Introduction Central tower concentrating solar power (CSP) technology is an approach within the renewable energy sector that focuses direct solar radiation onto a central receiver, converting it into usable thermal energy for electricity generation or other thermal applications. A standard central-tower CSP plant comprises three main subsystems: a solar heliostat field, a central receiver, and a power conversion unit [1,2].
Fully-gapped superconductivity with rotational symmetry breaking in pressurized kagome metal CsV3Sb5 - Nature Communications Original
Abstract The discovery of the kagome metal CsV3Sb5 has generated significant interest in its complex physical properties, particularly its superconducting behavior under different pressures, though its nature remains debated. Here, we performed low-temperature, high-pressure 121/123Sb nuclear quadrupole resonance (NQR) measurements to explore the superconducting pairing symmetry in CsV3Sb5.
Enhanced CO2 photoreduction over S-scheme Sdoped-BiVO4/AgCl heterostructures and interface interaction mediated selective generation of CH4
The continuous increase of CO2 in the atmosphere due to the massive consumption of fossil fuels is causing global climate warming, which is threatening the human living environment. To achieve the “Goals of Carbon Peaking and Carbon Neutrality” set forth by China, multiple strategies have been adopted to lower the CO2 concentration in the atmosphere. Photocatalytic reduction of CO2 is regarded as a promising strategy for the elimination of CO2 [[1], [2], [3], [4], [5], [6]].

The issue of energy shortage is a primary constraint on the development of human society. Hydrogen, capable of combustion in oxygen to produce pure water and release substantial heat energy, is regarded as one of the most promising novel clean energy sources in contemporary times. Currently, hydrogen gas is mainly obtained through water electrolysis. However, this process presents numerous challenges such as high energy consumption and technical complexity.

The effect of carbon addition on the mechanical properties and fracture behaviors of cobalt‐chromium‐iron‐ manganese‐nickel high entropy alloy
The uniaxial tensile and cupping tests of cobalt-chromium-iron-manganese-nickel high entropy alloy were performed to investigate the effect of solid soluted carbon addition on the strengthening mechanism. The results revealed that at 0.5 at % carbon, the tensile strength, uniform elongation, and cupping strength of the sample were promoted. However, the brittleness fracture appeared by further increasing carbon to 1.0 at %, as caused by the carbides along grain boundary.
Product design evaluation based on improved CRITIC and Comprehensive Cloud-TOPSIS - Applied to automotive styling design evaluation
Product design represents a problem-solving endeavor with the primary objective of creating successful products that not only meet consumer requirements but also enable businesses to establish a competitive advantage in highly contested markets [1]. The determination of a substantial proportion of a product's costs occurs during the product design phase, necessitating a compelling need within the industrial sector to enhance the efficiency of product design processes [2].
A simple and sensitive colorimetric approach for mecA gene analysis via exonuclease-III catalyzed signal cascade
Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) associated invasive infections have been estimated to account over 20 % impact on mortality worldwide [1,2]. MRSA is the primary cause of severe nosocomial and hospital infections because it is resistant to all forms of penicillin and other -lactam medicines [3,4]. Detecting MRSA at the time of intensive care unit (ICU) admission is crucial for infection control and preventing the use of ineffectual empirical treatments [5,6].
An intrinsic safe siloxane ether-based electrolyte for lithium-sulfur batteries at high temperatures
The first generation of secondary batteries, Li-ion batteries, have been commercialized since 1990s and achieved great advances in electric vehicles, notebook computers, aerospace, and other equipment [1]. However, Li-ion battery has gradually been approaching the ceiling on account of limited resources and energy capacity [2]. Therefore, developing safe, long cycle life, and high energy density batteries has been a longstanding goal for electrochemical power sources filed.

Engineering the S-scheme heterojunction between NiO microrods and MgAl-LDH nanoplates for efficient and selective photoreduction of CO2 to CH4
Due to the depletion of fossil fuel supplies, direct conversion of carbon dioxide (CO2) and water (H2O) into high value-added derivatives by photocatalytic technology under moderate circumstances has been acknowledged as a promising approach for dealing with the greenhouse effect and solar energy storage [1], [2], [3], [4], [5]. In recent years, the demand for methane (CH4), which is a widely used fuel and significant chemical, has garnered widespread attention.
FGF12 regulates cell cycle gene expression and promotes follicular granulosa cell proliferation through ERK phosphorylation in geese
open access Keywords goose granulosa cell FGF12 Cell cycle hormone INTRODUCTION Egg production in poultry is the process of follicle maturation to ovulation. In birds, only about 5% of the follicles mature and ovulate, while the remaining 95% develop atresia to varying degrees (Tilly, 2001). Atretic follicles do not develop normally, affecting egg production. The development of poultry follicles is regulated by a variety of factors.

In order to balance efficacy and toxicity, we use the concept of ‘Smart Start’ to explore the efficacy and safety of tislelizumab sequentially combined with AVD regimen in the first-line treatment of cHL in phase II study (NCT04843267).
Commensurate-to-incommensurate transition of charge-density-wave order and a possible quantum critical point in pressurized kagome metal CsV3Sb5 - npj Quantum Materials
Abstract Clarifying the interplay between charge-density waves (CDWs) and superconductivity is important in the kagome metal CsV3Sb5, and pressure (P) can play a crucial role. Here, we present 121/123Sb nuclear quadrupole resonance (NQR) measurements under hydrostatic pressures up to 2.43 GPa in CsV3Sb5 single crystals.
Examining homogeneity of dielectric barrier discharge using dispersion normalization and local temperature difference methods
1 Introduction DBD is a classical source of nonthermal plasma at atmospheric pressure [1–4]. DBD in general involves filamentary discharges under normal pressure, but the discharge space suffers from the uneven distribution of energy density that limits its application to the industry. Compared with the filamentary discharge, homogeneous dielectric barrier discharge (HDBD) has the advantages of homogeneity and stability.
