הפגיעה הקשה ביותר בחופש העיתונות מופנית כלפי פלסטינים. חייל מונע מעיתונאי פלסטיני להגיע לכפר ליד חברון, לאחר שהצבא שרף גידולים חקלאיים באזור, ב-5 במאי 2026 (צילום: מוסעב שאוור / אקטיבסטילס) בשנת 2025 הצנזורה הצבאית מנעה בממוצע פרסום של שתי כתבות ביום והתערבה בתוכנן של 13 כתבות נוספות. זו השנה השנייה המצונזרת ביותר בעיתונות הישראלית ב-15 השנים האחרונות; במקום הראשון ניצבת השנה שקדמה לה, כלומר 2024.

We’re Publishing Sally Rooney in Hebrew Published May 22, 2026 It was five years ago that the bestselling Irish author Sally Rooney first declared her support for the Palestinian-led Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement. At the time, Rooney had already published Hebrew translations of two of her novels with the Israeli publishing house Modan, but refused to translate a third.
