CHEYENNE, Wyo. — The 130th Cheyenne Frontier Days is the year of the American Indian, and what better time to unveil the new Morning Star American Indian Village, an immersive cultural celebration of the vibrant traditions, artistry, and spirit of the Plains tribes who have been part of the Daddy of ’em All for more than 125 years. CHEYENNE, Wyo. — The city of Cheyenne has announced that several city facilities and offices will have modified schedules for Cheyenne Day on Wednesday, July 22. City offices will be closed Wednesday, along with the the BEAST Facility, the Cheyenne Botanic Gardens Grand Conservatory, the Paul Smith Children’s Village and the Cheyenne Transit Program offices. Buses will not run. Many other facilities will have altered schedules.

CHEYENNE, Wyo. — What goes better with a good book than a good old-fashioned Mexican luchador smackdown? For WyoGives Day, the state of Wyoming’s single largest day of giving, the Laramie County Library brought the action to Cheyenne with a full day of Mexican wrestling-themed events. The all-day event included Lucha Libre mask decorating, a kids obstacle course, a bilingual story time, and culminated with the main event: live Lucha Libre wrestling matches, complete with an official ring.
