HENDERSON, N.C. (WNCN) – Authorities said two men considered to be “armed and dangerous” escaped from the Vance County Detention Center in Henderson, North Carolina, on Wednesday afternoon. Michael Miles, 33, and LiShawn Knott, 21, escaped around 2 p.m. Wednesday and remained at large Thursday, according to Vance County Sheriff’s Office. “Both individuals are considered armed and dangerous,” a news release from the office said.
