ANDERSON COUNTY, Tenn. (WATE) — Three people are dead after a crash on Briceville Highway ended in flames. The Tennessee Highway Patrol has released the preliminary report for a fatal crash that occurred near 1077 Briceville Highway at 1:01 p.m. on July 1. According to the report, a BMW was going north when it crossed the center line into the southbound lanes and struck a Nissan Rogue head-on. The BMW then came to a stop on its top and was fully engulfed in flames.

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WATE) — The restaurant in Tellico Plains just barely passed its inspection. Half a dozen critical violations were marked down. The grade is a 70 at La Loteria Mexican Restaurant on Main Street in Tellico Plains. 70 is a passing score. A grade of 69 and below is considered failing. To begin with, food temperatures were off. In the cooler, raw beef and chicken were at 50 degrees, and the manager told the inspector they had been there overnight.
