Marion, Dillon, Marlboro, Scotland, Robeson, and most of Horry County—excluding the Grand Strand beaches—are under a Heat Advisory until 8:00 tonight. MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WBTW) — Temperatures aren’t too different as you’re starting your morning. A few spots inland are beginning in the upper 60s, but most locations are waking up in the low to mid-70s. Temperatures will climb slightly higher today than in the past few days. Along the coast, highs will reach the upper 80s, with heat index values in the low to mid-90s. Inland, however, it will be much hotter, with afternoon highs between 96° and 98°.
