I’ve also worked for publications of record in Idaho, Maryland, Connecticut, Colorado and D.C.
I graduated from Ohio University with degrees in journalism and political science and a minor in sociology.

I did several internships in college, but my first full-time job was at USA Today network paper on Maryland's Eastern Shore.
Have you ever used a typewriter?
No, but I have a typewriter pillow.
Why did you become a journalist?
To write the wrongs to right the wrongs and to hold those in power accountable.
