High-speed broadband provider NITCO announced new leadership after the passing of longtime owner Rhys Mussman. Mussman's three daughters will take on ownership. They are the fourth generation of the family-owned business. Company President Tom Long is working with the family to ensure a smooth transition. “There are no plans to sell NITCO,” said Tom Long, president of Northwestern Indiana Telephone Co., in a press release. “It will be business as usual for our customers and employees.

An Italian eating experience is coming to the Crown Point Square in August. SUGO Italian Kitchen is the latest concept restaurant from Meraki Hospitality Group. SUGO will feature handmade pasta and wood-fired pizza, along with a few unique dining options. Children will have the opportunity to build their own pizzas, while adults can enjoy an alcoholic beverage from the eatery's pneumatic cocktail delivery system. Tubes will transport cocktails between floors.
