Heather Fletcher’s Biography
I worked for Catena Media until Nov. 1, 2024. I wrote about the strategic aspect of the online gambling and online sports betting industry on Bonus.com. I also worked on several regional sites and the now-defunct onlinepokerreport.com.
Previously, I wrote for major publications, such as The New York Times, The New York Daily News, New York Newsday and The New York Post. I covered performance marketing for Adweek and overall marketing, with an emphasis on direct, for Target Marketing magazine. Throughout my as a reporter and editor, I've run a news and political analysis website, worked as a stringer for the Associated Press during national conventions and an Inauguration and initiated investigative pieces and long-term feature assignments that took me off of my regular beats, which mainly included government and education coverage. While consulting for the Direct Marketing Association, I worked in the Member Communications area and as a press liaison. I earned a bachelor’s degree in journalism from The Ohio State University and a master’s degree in journalism from New York University.
