Schneyer Seniorenclub erkundet romantisches Dettelbach

Dual Neutralization as a Pathway to a Denuclearized Korea
The Debate | Opinion “Finlandization” for the North and “Austriazation” for the South provide a path toward unification – and denucleariation. On July 27, the Korean Armistice Agreement that ended the bloodshed on the Korean Peninsula turned 70 years old. While the agreement did not bring a comprehensive peace – technically the two sides are still at war – it stopped the dying and laid the foundation for the separate development of two Koreas, locked in a state of constant mutual threat.

In Defense of Neutrals
The demise of neutrality has been much exaggerated. Finnish membership and Sweden’s accession application to NATO have been interpreted in some corners as evidence of its decline. In wars of aggression, refusing to pick sides is untenable, some hold, as they berate those who still do not send weapons to Ukraine or sanction Russia. Yet whether critics like it or not, neutrality isn’t going anywhere. Principled stances of neutrality, always and everywhere, are reactions to conflict.
Neutrality and Nonalignment Are Signs of Strength
Why they’re more than just fence sitters. From left to right, Luxembourg's Foreign Minister Jean Asselborn, German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock, Austria's Foreign Minister Alexander Schallenberg, Liechtenstein's Foreign Minister Dominique Hasler and Switzerland's Foreign Minister Ignazio Cassis give a joint press conference, during a meeting of foreign ministers from German-speaking countries, in Salzburg, Austria, on March 27.
Dual-neutrality for the Koreas: a two-pronged approach toward reunification
ABSTRACT This article builds a novel argument for the unification of the two Korean states by way of a dual neutralisation process. After reviewing the neutralisation concept and the history of neutrality ideas for the peninsula, the authors introduce two historical models that would fit the security needs of both Koreas and their respective security partners.
Austrian neutrality does not mean disengaging from international affairs. Instead, it demands an intense involvement
Austria’s neutrality law of 1955 is based on three pillars: no membership in a military alliance, no permanent deployment of foreign troops and no participation in foreign wars. They all concern military and security issues. Austria also commits itself to defend its neutrality “with all means available,” meaning that it is an armed neutrality. Austria’s neutrality is not only enshrined in its constitution but also based on international law.
Bolstering defence policy in Ireland does not have to come at the expense of neutrality
The atrocities in Ukraine at the hands of a brutal tyrant have not happened in isolation. The world is shocked, but Russian President Vladimir Putin’s record of devastation should not invoke surprise. As in Grozny and Aleppo, Putin has continued his modus operandi in Mariupol and Bucha. This is to the dismay of every decent human being not wrapped up in a bubble of neo-Soviet propaganda.
