Bright sunshine could hardly have been more welcome on Tuesday after a long winter and a cold spring, when Sandycreek Elementary School held its annual Carnival Day to celebrate the impending end of school. Over 100 students from kindergarten through fifth grade walked, ran, jumped, skipped, hopped, laughed, yelled and sloshed through 16 outdoor and indoor activity stations, from a dunk tank to paper airplanes to a petting zoo and field games.
