Entering the fifth week of the 2026 season, Tiger volleyball recorded 10 wins and three losses. In these games, Trinity University has defeated all seven unranked teams that they have faced, and are 3-3 against ranked opponents. The Tigers start this week coming off of two wins and one loss at the Southern Athletic Association (SAA) pod tournament.

Trinity University football is now 3-0, after their win on Sept. 19 over Pacific Lutheran University, 24-6. While the game gave Trinity another victory, it also gave them another injured player: starting quarterback sophomore Welker Horn. Horn clutched at his right leg with 11 minutes and 13 seconds to go in the third quarter, just after he had run for a first down. Horn then limped off the field and spent the rest of the game on the sidelines.

A scream broke through the early-morning stillness of the Windcrest Golf Club — “One, two, three, Tigers!” It was the Trinity University men’s cross country team revving themselves up for their first 8K of the year. After this race ended, the Trinity women’s cross country team cheered their own chant before running a 5K. Both teams raced against 10 other schools on Sept. 12, including multiple DI programs. Amongst this competition, the Trinity women came in third, and the men came in fifth.
