What does it mean to be a journalist?
A true journalist is naturally passionate and curious, and wants to uncover truths and share them. Personally, I'm driven by that.

Why did you become a journalist?
Because I've always loved sharing the great things I find, from products to ideas to health and other advice.
Did you work for your high school newspaper? If so, what did you do there?
I started Urbanette Magazine when I was in high school.
What story are you most proud of writing or working on?
Mostly the ones to do with female empowerment and body image.
What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?
Don't be lazy. Edit, edit, and then edit some more. Pay close attention to the advice your editor gives you. Come up with unique ideas!

Any time, but I get a lot of email, so keep re-sending if I don't answer right away.
