Head to head comparison of two PET/CT imaging agents, [18F]D3FSP ([18F]P16-129) and [18F]AV45, in patients with alzheimer’s disease - EJNMMI Research
Eight subjects with clinically diagnosed AD were enrolled (mean age: 61.1 ± 10.0 years [SD], range: 50–77; 5 males, 3 females). The average Mini-Mental State Examination (MMSE) score was 21 ± 4 [SD], with a range of 15–26. The results of the plasma metabolite assay are summarized in Fig. 2 below. The was no difference in parent (left panel) or the des-methyl metabolite (right panel) fractions for [18F]D3FSP and [18F]AV-45 over the time course of imaging.
