Franco Manca has announced plans to close 16 restaurants across the UK, with over half of the closures in London. The chain of restaurants is run by The Fulham Shore (which also oversees The Real Greek), and is set to undergo a major restructuring, with around 225 jobs at risk. Founded in Brixton in 2008, Franco Manca is known for its Neapolitan-inspired pizzas and sourdough crusts, becoming a popular fixture on the UK's dining scene and growing to 70 locations nationwide.

Le Manoir aux Quat’Saisons, the two-Michelin-starred restaurant and hotel founded by Raymond Blanc, is set to close its doors for a major redevelopment. The Oxfordshire estate, which first opened in 1984, will close its doors in January 2026 for 18 months of extensive works, with plans to reopen in summer 2027. As part of the redevelopment, Blanc has confirmed he will be stepping back from day-to-day operations, transitioning into the role of Lifetime Ambassador.
