The above screenshot is of Musk explaining his behavior in blocking Substack links. It’s all lies. This is a lie. Substack links were made incapable of normal interaction. You could not reply to, like, or retweet a tweet with a Substack link. The tweet could be quote tweeted, but the QT could also not be liked, RT’d, or replied to. When clicked on, they brought up the same warning that phishing and other legitimately dangerous sites bring up.

On Monday, March 27, 2023, a woman named Audrey Hale, a transgender individual who identified as a man named Aiden Hale, entered a Christian school in Nashville, Tennessee, and murdered six people, three of them 9-year-olds. The tragedy has been the primary topic of discussion on social media since it occurred. Reading the many takes on Monday’s tragic events in Nashville, I’ve been surprised by all the ways this shooting is being treated differently.

I grew up in the Deep South, and have many friends still there. My friend Josh Slocum hosts the Disaffected Podcast, on which he often talks about life here in Blue America. He does it so you all know what’s going on, and what will happen where you are if you don’t pay attention. Because yes, the Wokeness in your local schools will make its way to your city council, too, if you’re not careful.
