1 Introduction Diverse biological processes, including gene expression, cell metabolism, and immune responses, are regulated through post-translational modifications, such as phosphorylation, methylation, and ubiquitination [1]. Following ubiquitination, proteins are recognized and degraded by proteasomes. This process is crucial for maintaining cellular protein homeostasis. Additionally, these ubiquitinated proteins mediate protein translocation, DNA repair, and signal transduction [2].
