Amazon buys Sheboygan site for $2 million

Amazon, through subsidiary Amazon.com Services LLC, has purchased a 57-acre site at the intersection of Stahl Road and South Taylor Drive in Sheboygan for $2 million, according to state records. New Land unveils plans for 25-story condo tower in downtown Milwaukee

Milwaukee-based development firm New Land Enterprises plans to build a 25-story condominium tower in downtown Milwaukee. It would be the first development of its kind in more than two decades, according to Tim Gokhman, managing director of New Land. Condominium development was prevalent downtown prior to the housing market crash during the Great Recession. Since then numerous large apartment buildings have been built downtown, but few condos.

Hilton Garden Inn near Mitchell International sold for $13.4 million

The Hilton Garden Inn Milwaukee Airport hotel at 5890 S. Howell Ave. in Milwaukee has been sold for $13.4 million, according to state records. The three-story hotel, located southwest of General Mitchell International Airport, was sold by Madison-based Raymond Management Company Inc. to Mason, Ohio-based THG HGIMKE LLC.
