Flow cytometry The cells were collected at the indicated time points, washed twice with ice-cold PBS containing 0.5% BSA to block Fc receptors. The transduced CD34+ HSPCs were assessed for CD235a expression after staining with PE-conjugated anti-CD235a and APC-conjugated anti-CD71 antibodies (BD Biosciences PharMingen). Flow cytometry was performed using Accuri™ C6 Plus Flow Cytometer (BD Biosciences) and Attune® NxT Flow Cytometer (Thermo Fisher Scientific).
