At some point you text your mom to find out the exact time of your birth so you can enter it on a star chart generating website.

I grew up in a Catholic family. We are Latin, Cuban to be exact, and Catholicism usually comes with the territory. That’s my first communion pic above. I went to Catholic school, a Jesuit academy to be precise. But as much as I took part in the sacramental rites of passage, I spent much of my younger life pushing back against religion. I was skeptical, rebellious, agnostic, and convinced that religion was a ruse…TheOpiate of the Masses, as someone of note once said.
