Humera Ashraf

Barley is a plant of the genus Hordeum in the grass family of the order Poales (formerly Cyperales), family Poaceae (formerly Gramineae), also known as hull-less barley or rye. It is one of the variants of barley(ZENG et al., 2018). It is China's smallest staple food and the largest coarse grain(GUO et al., 2020). Highland barley, an essential crop on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau of China, serves as a staple food for the Tibetan people.
