Effects of exercise interventions on health-related quality of life in older adults with osteoporosis: a systematic review and meta-analysis
This systematic review and meta-analysis demonstrates that exercise interventions significantly improve overall health-related quality of life (HRQoL), as well as its physical and mental components, among adults with osteoporosis. Resistance training emerged as the most consistently effective modality, while substantial between-study variability was observed, reflecting differences in study design, participant characteristics, and intervention protocols.

Overnutrition in adolescents and its associated factors in Dale district schools in Ethiopia: a cross-sectional study
Overnutrition (overweight and obesity) has a potentially serious impact on the physical and psychological health of adolescents. It lowers educational attainment and triggers an earlier onset of metabolic syndrome. The potential determinants vary across different settings. Exploring area-specific determinants is vital to designing appropriate interventions for preventing lifelong overnutrition and its consequences, particularly in Ethiopia where undernutrition and overnutrition are coexisting.
Next steps to advance general physical activity recommendations towards physical exercise prescription: a narrative review
Physical activity Exercise Exercise testing WHAT IS ALREADY KNOWN ON THIS TOPIC Current WHO physical activity (PA) guidelines have a general approach. Aerobic PA is recommended to be performed at a certain intensity level, expressed in terms of metabolic equivalents of tasks and the rating scale of perceived exertion (RPE; ie, 0–10 scale). Muscle-strengthening activities are recommended to be performed at moderate or greater intensity, engaging all major muscle groups.
