Amazon announced Wednesday that it is planning a new multibillion robotics manufacturing facility in Austin. The e-commerce giant has spent $100 billion in Texas since 2010, and its new robotics manufacturing facility looks to add to that tally. 🏆New Construction Dallas-based data center developer DataBank filed a permit for a $325 million project in Red Oak, a town about 20 miles south of Downtown Dallas. The 444,000-square-foot data center at 3600 Batchler Road will be two stories tall with an office component and is set to be delivered by the end of the year. DataBank’s Red Oak campus has four completed data centers across 290 acres, and will have eight at full build-out.
