The penultimate week of North Texas football’s spring camp has wrapped up, with the team competing in more live drills and in-game scenarios as coaches continue to evaluate each position group on the roster. The Mean Green now have one week of practice left before their Spring Showcase on April 18.

Fans packed into Lovelace Stadium on Thursday and Friday as American Conference-leading North Texas softball took on projected conference-winners Florida Atlantic University at the midway point through American play. North Texas (22-17, 11-4 American Conference) took the series 2-1 with a sweep of a doubleheader played on Thursday, while the Owls (26-13, 8-7) brought themselves back above .500 in conference play with a win on Friday. “That's a big series win,” head coach Cody White said.
