Since we are officially into the “dog days of summer,” this is a great opportunity to touch on a couple of random subjects that our readers will find important, so here goes: Executive Register: On page 33 of this issue, you’ll find the 2019 installment of the Executive Register.

Last month, I did a callout encouraging young and accomplished IB readers to put their hat into the ring and fill out an application to be considered for the 2019 40 Under 40 class (by the way, you can still fill this out before Nov. 16 at IBMadison.com/40under40.) However, this month I’m devoting this space to another great program that IB will present early in the 2019 calendar year: our annual Executive of the Year awards.

It’s that time of year for me to make my annual call-out reminder regarding IB’s Women of Industry awards, coming to the pages of In Business magazine (and an awards program) this November. This will be our third installment of this program, and it has very quickly become one of our real highlights as we recognize regional businesswomen who are forward-thinking pioneers in their respective fields.
