MUNCIE, Ind. (WISH) — A Delaware County jury on Tuesday convicted a Muncie man of murder for the 2024 shooting of a teenager during a robbery. Robert Graham III turned 19 on Sunday and was 16 at the time of the crime. He was also found guilty of robbery resulting in serious bodily injury, conspiracy to commit robbery, and obstruction of justice. The jury deliberated for about an hour and a half before returning the verdict.

MANILA, Philippines (AP) — A high school student carrying two firearms shot to death a fellow student before killing himself Tuesday in a high school in a university campus in the southern Philippines where hundreds of students were evacuated to safety, officials said. YORKTOWN, Ind. (WISH) — Investigators believe a 58-year-old woman died after trying to drive through floodwaters that swept her vehicle into a Delaware County cornfield. Delaware County Sheriff's Department deputies found the woman's body Friday in the 4100 block of South Bell Creek Road, about a mile southeast of downtown Yorktown. Her vehicle was in a cornfield about 100 feet west of the road, and her body was found 50 feet away from the vehicle. A dog was also found dead inside the vehicle.

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — A shooting critically injured a man Tuesday night in a restaurant parking lot on the south side of Indianapolis, police said. Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department was called just before 7 p.m. Tuesday to Carrabba's Italian Grill, 4690 Southport Crossing Drive, a restaurant off East Southport Road near the I-65 interchange. Investigators think the man was abusing a woman in the parking lot, and her son showed up and shot the man.
